Creating a custom product
A custom product is any kind of cannabis good or gear that isn’t a Branded/Verified Product. Custom products are typically your house brand or any other brand not listed on Weedmaps (see the Weedmaps Brands Directory for a list of all Brands on Weedmaps).
Creating a custom product will require you to build the product from scratch. To reduce the time it takes to create a product, please see Creating a Branded/Verified Product.
Amazon Rekognition technology
Powered by Amazon Rekognition, when creating a custom product featuring a deal, payment information, or incorrect vocabulary, you'll receive an error message advising you to fix the errors before publishing the product.
Make all changes to your menu from your point-of-sale (POS) integration; the updates sync with your Weedmaps menu automatically.
If you have a Live Menu Integration with your POS platform, it's recommended to avoid making any changes to your menu through the Weedmaps Admin panel.
Let's get started
After you log in to your Weedmaps Admin account, navigate to your menu.
1. From your Admin dashboard, select Menu and click +Menu Item.
2. Select the Custom Product option.

match the strain closest to your product name based on keywords (the switch is green when on/enabled and gray when off/disabled).
b. For Genetics, check the box for the genetic type that most closely matches your product (see Genetics & Genome for more information).
c. In the Discovery Tag section, click View All Tags and select all the tags that best describe your product's characteristics (see Filters for more information).
