Written by Weedmaps Onboarding

Overview

After-Hours Ordering allows delivery operators to accept and queue orders outside of standard operating windows. By keeping your digital menu open overnight or during non-fulfillment hours, you capture high-intent demand from consumers browsing after hours. Orders placed outside business hours are automatically queued for processing as soon as your normal fulfillment window opens the following day.

Key Benefits

  • Capture Overnight Demand
Convert late-night website and app visitors into scheduled orders for the next business day.

  • Seamless Order Queuing
Incoming orders hold automatically until your delivery dispatch hours resume, eliminating manual scheduling friction.

  • Protected Delivery Metrics
Overnight orders are excluded from dynamic ETA calculations, keeping your daytime delivery performance metrics accurate.

How to Enable After-Hours Ordering for Delivery Listings

  1. Log in to Weedmaps Admin.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does After-Hours Ordering trigger based on store hours or order hours?

After-Hours Ordering kicks in immediately after your defined Order Hours close for the day. Because many delivery operators function without a traditional physical storefront, fulfillment is governed by order hours rather than store hours. Order hours represent the specific window during which your listing accepts and fulfills same-day orders.

  • Will orders placed after hours affect my dynamic estimated time of arrival (ETA)?

No. Because after-hours orders inherently carry longer fulfillment lead times, Weedmaps automatically excludes them from dynamic ETA calculations to protect your active delivery metrics.

  • Can After-Hours Ordering be enabled on Express Menus?

No. After-Hours Ordering is strictly available for primary menus on Delivery listings and cannot be used with Express Menus.
