What’s Best of Weedmaps?
Best of Weedmaps 2024 seeks to recognize and award the retailers and brands that provide the best-of-the-best when it comes to consumer shopping experiences on the Weedmaps platform.
Dispensary, delivery services, and brand clients who qualify for this year’s award will be announced in November 2023, with semi-finalists awarded in January 2024 based on a number of factors, including:
Consistency, completion, and relevancy of listing
Business engagement/activity within Weedmaps listing page
Quality of post-order fulfillment and overall customer service

How do I become a Qualifier?
A select number of the highest-scoring pages per region per category, based on page quality criteria have been determined as Qualifiers. Cannabis dispensaries, delivery operators, and brands who have been on the Weedmaps platform for at least six months with one of the highest quality listings in their area can qualify for Best of Weedmaps.
How will semi-finalists be selected?
We will be selecting a select number of semi-finalist per category per region from our predetermined pool of qualifiers based on the quality of their listing pages during the months of November and December.
There are several factors that play a role in determining the semi-finalists for Best of Weedmaps. Our internal algorithm takes into account listing ranking and performance, state and local nuances, customer ratings and reviews, and more.
How are winners being selected?
Once semi-finalists are determined, one (1) winner per category per region will be selected by Weedmaps users. During this time, points will be awarded for the total number of votes on the landing page, orders completed, reviews, favorites, and follows. Public voting for winners is anticipated to take place from January 29 - February 29, 2024.
What do Best of Weedmaps semi-finalists and winners receive?
Semi-finalists will receive the following features on Weedmaps:

We'll tally the points by February 29, 2024, and the winners (one per category per region) will receive the following features on Weedmaps:
Prestigious gold trophy icon on the listing

Winning clients will also receive a packet of physical materials to help promote the Best of Weedmaps 2024 award, including a trophy, window emblem, shirts, and more to thank your budtenders for their customer service and support.

Q: I won Best of Weedmaps 2022. Will I lose the trophy on my listing?
A: Yes, past Best of Weedmaps winner recognitions will be removed by the end of 2023. If you are selected as a semi-finalist or winner for 2024, you'll receive new iconography and exciting listing features.
Q: I previously won Best of Weedmaps, does that increase my chances of winning Best of Weedmaps 2024?
A: Winning previously does not increase your chances for this year. Semi-finalists are chosen based on the quality of their listing, customer service, and Weedmaps user voting that will begin in late January 2024.
Q: I am a semi-finalist for Best of Weedmaps 2024. What’s next, how do I win?
A: Semi-finalists will be announced at the end of January 2024, after which Weedmaps user voting will be open through February 29, 2024. Winners will be selected based on Weedmaps user vote and listing engagement. Final winners will be announced in April 2024.
Q: What happens if I was a semi-finalist, but not a winner?
A: Even if you don’t end up a winner in 2024, you’ll get to keep your semi-finalist icon across the Weedmaps platform until new semi-finalists are announced for 2025.
There is no guarantee that you will become a Best of Weedmaps semi-finalist or winner. The Best of Weedmaps program is subject to change at any time in our sole discretion, including but not limited to the criteria for the selection of semi-finalists and winners. Weedmaps does not assume and will not have any liability or responsibility to you or any other person or user for your participation in the Best of Weedmaps program, including for your selection or non-selection as a Best of Weedmaps Qualifier, semi-finalist, or winner. At any time and for any reason, we may cancel the Best of Weedmaps program, and disqualify you from the Best of Weedmaps program at any time and for any reason, including the submission of fraudulent orders, favorites, or reviews.
