How to add announcements to your listing

Announcements are great ways to keep your current customers informed about changes or special events happening at your business. Consider the below items to help you write an announcement.

  • Include any temporary updates about your business, such as any changes to your days or hours of operation.

  • Promote new products you've added to your menu. Highlight them as Featured Products for extra attention!

  • Provide updates on new services, such as the addition of WM Orders, or curbside pickup and delivery.

  • Keep your message short and sweet, as announcements have a maximum 255 characters (including spaces).

  • Update this section regularly: For returning customers, this is where they look for news about your business. Maintaining fresh information keeps loyal customers engaged.



After you log in to your Weedmaps Admin account, navigate to the Details tab.

1. In the Descriptions section, scroll down to Announcements.
2. In the Announcements text field, enter details about your event, update, or special notification.

To create headers, select the desired text and click the B button to make the text appear in bold.

3. Click Save (scroll down if necessary).
