A Brand Linked product is a retailer menu item that exists in a Brand Catalog on Weedmaps. Once linked, the menu item will inherit details from the associated Brand’s catalog. Those details may include the official name, image, description, and other relevant tags. In order to brand link a menu item, the Brand needs to be published on Weedmaps and the product needs to be published in the Brand's catalog.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to Brand Link a product:

  1. Log in to your Weedmaps Admin account

  2. Navigate to the LISTINGS tab to locate your listing and select EDIT

  3. Select the MENU tab at the top of the page

4. Locate the product you would like to Brand Link and select the grey pencil icon

5. Select Branded Product

6. In the Brand and Product field, search for the correct brand and product

7. Set the product Price by weight or Price by unit

8. In the Availability section, you can enable multiple settings

  • Publish Product: This allows you to choose whether customers can see this item on your menu

  • Enable Online Ordering: If you have WM Orders enabled, this allows you to choose whether customers can add this item to their cart. Toggle the product on and off from being available for order requests.

  • Recreational: Click if the product is available for recreational customers

  • Medical: Select if the product is available for medical patients only

9. Input the THC and CBD percentage or milligrams in the Cannabinoids section. Enabling the Auto-tagging setting will allow Weedmaps to automatically put a THC or CBD percentage based on the product name or description

10. Once you have created your product, select the Save button at the bottom right corner of the page

Once saved and approved by the Brand, the product will show (Linked) under the Brand column in WM Admin.
