How to integrate with Dutchie (formerly LeafLogix)

Weedmaps offers two types of point-of-sale (POS) integrations with Dutchie (formerly LeafLogix):

  1. Live menu integration: Allows for a listing’s menu to be built directly from the POS system and periodically sync to keep your Weedmaps menu to update

  2. Order integration: If a customer places an order on Weedmaps, the order will automatically be sent to your POS for fulfillment.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to set up live menu and order integrations:

How to set up a live menu integration with Dutchie

Before enabling the live menu integration on Weedmaps, please make sure you:

  1. Have your Weedmaps API key generated by Dutchie

  2. Ensure you have followed the steps outlined in Dutchie

Setting up a live menu integration

  1. Log in to your WM Admin account

  2. Navigate to the LISTINGS tab to locate your listing and select EDIT

  3. Select the MENU tab at the top of the page

  4. Select the POS Integration button located at the top right corner of the page

    Please note: If you currently have a menu, the message below will appear on the POS integration page:

    "Looks like this menu has items in it. To integrate this menu, you must first delete all current items or create a new blank menu. Then, connect the newly created menu to your listing. Click here to create a new menu."

    Before you can integrate, you will need to either clear the existing menu or create a new one and set it live. Follow these steps to create a new menu.

  5. From the Point of Sale drop-down, choose Dutchie POS

  6. Enter the API key and click Next

    • API Key (Medical Only) (required for medical locations)

    • API Key (Recreational Only) (required for recreational or hybrid locations)

  7. Choose the desired Leaflogix options you would like to have​ for your integration settings

  8. Select Save

Please note: If your integration has completed its initial sync and you notice that products that were previously listed as branded/verified products no longer display the blue verification checkmark, you may need to re-verify those menu items.

How to set up an order integration with Dutchie

Before you set up order integration, you will need:

  • At minimum, a Basic Weedmaps account

  • Live Menu integration with Weedmaps

  • Orders enabled on Weedmaps (you have the Add to cart option available on your menu)

  • An account with Dutchie

Why are my product images not showing on my Weedmaps menu?

Please ensure your product images within Dutchie meet the following requirements:

  • The images have a minimum file size of 600 x 600 pixels

  • The images are either a jpeg. or png. file type

    (Please note: Images in .png & .jpegs format downloaded from the internet are often automatically converted to webp. file types which will not display on Weedmaps)

  • The images are uploaded directly into your Dutchie POS and not from a third party

Why are my products in Dutchie not showing on Weedmaps?

Please ensure the following settings are enabled within Dutchie:

  • The products (including the pricing) are both within the inventory and catalog in your Dutchie BackOffice

  • The Available Online settings under location details is toggled on Yes

  • The Available Online settings under order details is toggled on Yes

  • The necessary inventory rooms have been enabled in Settings > Rooms > (Desired inventory room) > Room accessible by menus > ensure Weedmaps is selected

  • The Assign Rooms to Menus setting has been enabled in your Backoffice > Settings > Location > enable "Assign Rooms To Menus" > Save

If I create a promo code on Weedmaps, will it transfer to my Dutchie POS system when a customer places an order?

No, a promo code created on Weedmaps will not automatically transfer to your Dutchie POS system when a customer applies it to their cart and completes an order on Weedmaps. We recommend mirroring the promo code on Weedmaps in your Dutchie POS system so it applies to the order once it appears in Dutchie.

Do ID images transfer to Dutchie from Weedmaps?

No, images of customer IDs will not transfer to your Dutchie POS system when customers complete an order on Weedmaps. You can locate customer IDs in the order information in Weedmaps Admin.

Will my taxes in Dutchie show on Weedmaps?

Yes, both sales and excise taxes are sent to Weedmaps if you are order-integrated. The taxes set in Dutchie will be reflected in customers' carts during the final phase of checkout on Weedmaps. If you are not order-integrated, taxes can be set on Weedmaps as an estimate for customers during checkout.

Why are my menu items changing to $0 at checkout on Weedmaps?

This can occur if the menu price is not the same in both the inventory and catalog within your Dutchie Backoffice. To resolve this issue, make sure the menu price is the same in both.

Can sale prices from Dutchie appear on my Weedmaps menu?

Yes, if a product is on sale in your Dutchie POS system, the sale price will appear on your Weedmaps menu as the regular product price.

Can I display THCA and CBDA on my Weedmaps menu?

In an effort to ensure the THC & CBD percentages shown on Weedmaps are accurate, combining THC + THCA and CBD + CBDA values on your Weedmaps menu is not an available feature. Only your THC and CBD values will display on Weedmaps.

Why are orders showing the customer's last name as 'Weedmaps'?

If the customer did not add their last name to their Weedmaps account, 'Weedmaps' will automatically default as the customer's last name to avoid issues with the order integration.

Where should I edit and modify my menu items?

Once you are menu integrated with your Dutchie POS system, all edits and modifications made to products need to be made directly in your POS system. If you make changes to the menu items directly on Weedmaps, it can disrupt the integration between Weedmaps and Dutchie. The only edits or modifications that can be made on Weedmaps is featuring a product and brand verifications.

If I change an order status in my Dutchie POS system, will the order status change on Weedmaps too?

Yes, once you change an order status in your POS system, the order status will change on Weedmaps. Please advise, it can take up to 3 minutes for the order status to change on Weedmaps.

What product image in Dutchie will show on Weedmaps?

If a product has multiple images uploaded within Dutchie, Weedmaps will display the latest photo uploaded for the product.
