Overview
Segmenting listings and drivers by zone allows you to structure multi-region or multi-hub delivery operations effectively. Grouping specific listing IDs and drivers into dedicated operational zones ensures incoming orders route to the correct hub and dispatch team.
Key Rules & Requirements
A driver can only belong to one zone at a time. Assigning a driver or listing to a new zone will automatically remove them from their previously assigned zone.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Log in to your Weedmaps Admin account.
Select Orders from the left navigation menu.
Click Zones from the Orders dropdown menu.
Select Create zone.
In the configuration window:
Enter a descriptive Zone name (e.g., North Region, Downtown Hub).
Enter the primary Zone address to establish the geographic center of the zone.
Click Create.
Save your updates.
To assign a driver to the Zone, navigate to the Drivers tab.
Select Add to a Zone to View next to the applicable driver.
