To set up an Express menu on Weedmaps, ensure your inventory is structured correctly. An Express menu will only function properly if you can create a separate inventory room in your point-of-sale (POS) system specifically for those items, or if you are using a manual menu that is not integrated with a POS.
How to Create and Set Up an Express Menu
Requirements Before You Start
Before proceeding, verify that your setup meets one of these two criteria, and note that not all Point of Sale (POS) systems are compatible with Express menus:
POS Users: You must have a dedicated inventory or "room" in your POS system exclusively for Express items. If you link to your main inventory, the Express menu will simply display all of your products.
Manual Users: If your menu is not integrated with a POS, you can manually select and manage which items appear on the Express list.
Navigate to the Menus Section
Click the + menu option in the upper right corner of your WM Orders admin panel
2. Name your menu: Choose a clear name like "Express Menu - your delivery name" so you can easily identify it later.
Select POS integration or Manual menu
For POS Integration: Input your credentials and select the specific inventory room you created for Express items. Your products will begin synchronizing automatically.
For Manual Menus: Populate the menu with the items you intend to keep available for immediate delivery
Activate the Express Feature
Once the menu is populated, return to the General section of your admin panel.
Scroll to the Menu section.
Locate the dropdown labeled Express menu and select the name of the menu you just created.
Click Save in the bottom right corner.

Keep it Updated: Regularly check your Express inventory to ensure customers aren't ordering out-of-stock items.
Curate for Speed: Select your most popular, easy-to-grab items to ensure you can meet faster delivery times.
Variety Matters: Include a mix of categories (flower, edibles, etc.) to appeal to a wider range of "quick-stop" shoppers.
