The Benefit of Push Notifications
Push notifications are the most reliable way to stay informed about your order. Because they are delivered directly through the Weedmaps app, they bypass carrier-specific restrictions that can often delay or block the delivery of important order information.
Instant Updates: Notifications appear on your lock screen in real time, even when the app is closed.
Detailed Tracking: Get the full information you need to transact smoothly with your retailer.
Reliability: Ensure you never miss a step in your order’s journey due to external service provider filtering.
Order Status Milestones
When your notifications are enabled, you will receive updates at the following stages:
Order placed: Your request has been sent to the retailer.
Preparing (pickup): The retailer is currently gathering your items.
Ready for pickup: Your order is ready and waiting.
Completed: Your order has been successfully fulfilled.
Cancelled: The order could not be completed.
How to Receive Updates
To receive these status alerts, consumers must have the Weedmaps app downloaded and ensure Notifications are toggled ON on their mobile device.
iOS (iPhone & iPad)
Open your device's Settings app.
Select Notifications.
Scroll down to find and tap Weedmaps.
Toggle Allow Notifications to the ON position.
(Optional) Ensure "Lock Screen," "Notification Center," and "Banners" are checked to never miss an update.
Android
Open your device's Settings app.
Tap Notifications (or Apps & notifications, depending on your model).
Select App notifications (or See all apps).
Find Weedmaps in the list and ensure the toggle is set to ON.
(Optional) For detailed tracking, ensure your Lock screen notifications are set to "Show all notification content".
