With Scheduled orders you can set order windows and lead times from your Zones hub in WM Admin to help you manage orders during peak hours.

  1. From WM Admin click Zones from the left navigation menu.

  2. Select the zone for which you’d like to add scheduled orders functionality, and then click Edit zone.

5. Next, select your order lead time.

6. Lastly, select your advanced ordering setting. Advanced orders are the amount of time a consumer can order in advance and can be between zero and four days.

7. Save the changes and you’re ready to go

What will an order window look like to your customers?

Once you’ve set up an order window, your customers can choose when they want to receive their order. In this example, an order window of one hour has been configured.

How does order lead time affect the checkout experience?

Order lead time affects the order windows that are presented to your customer during checkout. For example, if you’ve set an order lead time of 45 minutes and your customer places an order at 6:15pm, they will see a set of order windows beginning at 8:00pm instead of 7:00pm, giving you the time you may need to fill the order.

(In this example, if you changed the order lead time to 30 minutes or less and your customer places an order at 6:15pm, they would see a set of order windows beginning at 7:00pm.)

What does advanced ordering look like to your customers?

If you set up advanced ordering of one day or more, your customers will be able to choose a delivery date and time during checkout. In this example, advanced ordering of three days has been set.
