Jobs can be dispatched by assigning a job or batch of jobs to a single driver without leaving the main mapview, allowing dispatcher to preview the route and quickly make adjustments as needed

Dispatch a single job

  1. Select an unassigned job from the jobs list and right click (or click the dotted line) and select assign job

  2. Search and select driver from the list by clicking on the driver drop down and click assign

  3. A poly-line of the calculated route will be displayed on the map. Review the dispatch options and click the Dispatch button to complete the dispatch. A message will be displayed confirming that the route has been assigned to the driver

Dispatch multiple jobs / Batch jobs

  1. Select more than one unassigned job from the jobs list and right click (or click the dotted line) and select assign # jobs

  2. Search and select driver from the list by clicking on the driver drop down and click assign

  3. A poly-line of the calculated route will be displayed on the map. Review the dispatch options and click the Dispatch button to complete the dispatch. A message will be displayed confirming that the route has been assigned to the driver

You can manually dispatch the jobs by dragging the jobs around in the order of your preference. The route will be recalculated accordingly.

  4. Use the dispatch options to specify how the route will be planned

    1. Departure date and time- This option allows you to change the time the driver is expected to start the route

    2. Track return to Base - This option allows for a return leg to be added to the route automatically so that the driver's route back to base is tracked

    3. Ignore delivery windows - They system will optimize route for the shortest time it will take to complete the route and sort the order of jobs accordingly, ignoring any delivery windows set on the jobs

    4. Dispatch as individual jobs - This option will queue multiple jobs individually instead of creating a batch.

Click the update button once the changes have been made to save or click reset to go back to previous settings.
