How to integrate with Agtek

Weedmaps offers one type of point-of-sale (POS) integration with Agtek:

  1. Live menu integration: Allows for a listing’s menu to be built directly from a POS Partner’s product and periodically synced to keep your Weedmaps menu up to-date

Setting up a live menu integration on Weedmaps

  1. Log in to your Weedmaps Admin account

  2. Navigate to the LISTINGS tab to locate your listing and select EDIT

  3. Select the MENU tab at the top of the page

  4. Select the POS Integration button located at the top right corner of the page​

    Please Note: If you currently have a menu, the message below will appear on the POS Integration page:

    "Looks like this menu has items in it. To integrate this menu, you must first delete all current items or create a new blank menu. Then connect the newly created menu to your listing. Click here to create a new menu."

    Before you can integrate, you will need to either clear the existing menu or create a new menu and set it live.

  5. From the Point of Sale dropdown, choose Agtek

  6. Select Save

  1. Log into Agtek POS system

  2. Select the Admin button

  3. Navigate to External Apps

  4. Select Weedmaps from the left sidebar

  5. Click Start Setup

  6. Review the data Weedmaps needs access to and select Allow

  7. Next, enter your WMID

  8. Click Save

  9. Then, navigate back to Admin in Agtek

  10. Select the Categories button

  11. Choose the categories you would like to upload to Weedmaps

  12. Using the Weedmaps dropdown menu, select which Weedmaps category you want to upload products to

  13. Select Save

FAQs

Why are my product images not showing on my Weedmaps menu?

Please ensure your product images within Agtek meet the following requirements:

  • The image size is a minimum of 600 x 600 pixels

  • The image file type is either .png or .jpeg
    Please note: Images in .png & .jpeg format downloaded from the internet are often automatically converted to webp. file types which will not display on Weedmaps.

  • The image is directly uploaded into your POS system and not uploaded from a third party

Where should I edit and modify my menu items?

Once you are menu integrated with your Agtek POS system, all edits and product modifications must be made directly in your POS system. Changing the menu items directly on Weedmaps can disrupt the integration between Weedmaps and Agtek. The only edits or modifications that can be made on Weedmaps are featuring a product and brand verifications.

How do I enable a minimum quantity threshold?

You can enable a minimum quantity threshold in your Agtek POS system. Log into Agtek > Select Admin > Click External Apps > Navigate to Weedmaps > Choose Options.

Can I group together identical products such as multiple packages of the same product?

You can group together identical products in your Agtek POS system. Log into Agtek > Select Admin > Click External Apps > Navigate to Weedmaps > Choose Options.

Can I display THCA and CBDA on my Weedmaps menu?

In an effort to ensure the THC & CBD percentages shown on Weedmaps are accurate, combining THC + THCA and CBD + CBDA values on your Weedmaps menu is not an available feature. Only your THC and CBD values will display on Weedmaps.

How can I unpublish products in Agtek?

You can make products within an inventory room unsaleable in Agtek. Log into Agtek > Admin > Rooms > (Desired inventory room) > Uncheck the "Products Can Be Sold" box.

Why are my products not showing on Weedmaps?

Ensure you have choose the categories you would like to upload to Weedmaps. Log into Agtek > Select the Admin button > Click Categories > Using the Weedmaps dropdown menu, select the desired categories.
