How to Locate Your Brand Listing on Weedmaps

Whether you have a free listing or a paid subscription, finding your brand profile is the first step to managing your presence. Here is how to locate your brand based on your listing type.

1. Using Global Search (All Listing Types)

The fastest way to find your brand is by using the search bar at the top of the Weedmaps homepage or app.

  • Step 1: Navigate to Weedmaps.com.

  • Step 2: Type your Brand Name into the search bar.

  • Step 3: Ensure you select the Brands tab in the search results to filter out retailers or specific products.

2. Browsing by Category (Standard & Listing Plus)

If you have a Standard or Listing Plus subscription, your brand is integrated into the Weedmaps discovery layers. This allows consumers to find you even if they aren't searching for you by name.

  • Region-Based Discovery: Your brand will appear in the specific regions you have purchased.

  • Category Placement: Consumers will find you under the specific product categories (e.g., Flower, Edibles, Concentrates) that match your catalog.

3. Understanding Brand Ranking

An internal algorithm determines brand ranking in search results and category pages. To improve your visibility, we recommend:

  • Completing your profile: Ensure high-quality logos and banners are uploaded.

  • Brand Linking: Link your products to licensed retailers to show consumers where to buy.

  • Optimizing your Catalog: Keep your product menu up to date.

4. Troubleshooting: "I can't find my brand!"

If your brand isn't appearing in search results, check the following:

  • Status Check: Ensure your brand is set to "Active" in your admin dashboard.

  • Filters: Check whether any active filters (e.g., "Store Pickup" or "Order Online") might be hiding your listing.

  • Location: Ensure your search location is set to a region where your brand has active distribution or a paid placement.
