How to integrate with Blaze

Weedmaps offers two different POS integrations with Blaze:

  1. Live Menu Integration: Sync your POS menu with Weedmaps so that you only need to update your menu in one place

  2. Order Integration: If a customer places an order on Weedmaps, the order will automatically be sent to your POS for fulfillment

How to set up a Live Menu integration with Blaze

Before getting started, make sure you have your Blaze API key.

Your Blaze API key can be found in your Blaze admin tool by navigating to Global Settings > Company Settings > Developer Keys.

If you can't find your Blaze API key, contact Blaze Support at [email protected] with the following message and they'll reply with a unique key for each location in your account:

"We would like to have an API key generated for our Weedmaps menu. We are account <YOUR ACCOUNT NAME>."

NOTE: If you already have an integration in place, you'll need to disconnect it first. Follow these steps:

  1. From WM Admin, find your business from the Listings page and click EDIT.

  2. Go to the MENU tab.

  3. Click POS Integrated.

  4. Click Disconnect.

  5. Confirm that you want to disconnect your existing integration.

  6. You may need to refresh the page to make sure it's disconnected.

Once disconnected, you'll be able to follow the remaining steps to set up a new integration.

  1. Log in to your WM Admin account.

  2. Find your business from the Listings page and click EDIT.

  3. Go to the MENU tab.

  4. Click POS Integration.

  5. From the Point of Sale dropdown, choose Blaze.

  6. Enter the API Key.

  7. Click Next.

  8. In the Inventories field, all inventories associated with your API key will be listed. Click the x next to the inventories that you don’t want to sync. All remaining inventories will be synced over.

  9. Enable Automatically assign stock imagery to products without images? if you want generic images assigned to products that don’t already have an image.

  10. When you’re finished, click Save.

Congratulations! Your integration will initiate and it could take up to 30 minutes to complete. If it is taking longer than 30 minutes to complete, reach out to Weedmaps Support at [email protected].

NOTE: If your integration has completed its initial sync, and you notice that products that were previously listed as branded/verified products no longer display the blue checkmark indicating that the brand has confirmed you’re authorized, you may need to re-verify those menu items.

How to set up an Orders Integration with Blaze

You must have the following features enabled for a successful Orders integration setup:

  • At a minimum, a Basic Listing account with Weedmaps

  • WM Orders enabled

  • WM Integration via Weedmaps Catalog API

  • An account with Blaze, an integrated POS provider

Contact both your Weedmaps representative and your Blaze representative to get started with your Orders Integration!
