How to integrate with Meadow

Weedmaps offers two types of point of sale (POS) integrations with Meadow:

  1. Live menu integration: Allows for a listing’s menu to be built directly from a POS Partner’s product and periodically synced to keep your Weedmaps menu up to date

  2. Order integration: If a customer places an order on Weedmaps, the order will automatically be sent to your POS for fulfillment

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to set up live menu and order integrations:

How to set up a live menu integration with Meadow

Before enabling the live menu integration on Weedmaps, please make sure you:

  1. Added your WMID in Meadow. You can add your WMID in Meadow here

  2. Selected the inventory in Meadow you would like to sync to Weedmaps

Setting up a live menu integration

  1. Log in to your WM Admin account

  2. Navigate to the LISTINGS tab to locate your listing and select EDIT

  3. Select the MENU tab at the top of the page

  4. Select the POS Integration button located at the top right corner of the page

    Please note: If you currently have a menu, the message below will appear on the POS Integration page:


    "Looks like this menu has items in it. To integrate this menu, you must first delete all current items or create a new blank menu. Then, connect the newly created menu to your listing. Click here to create a new menu."

    ​Before you can integrate, you will need to clear the existing menu. You can do this by checking the boxes to the left of products under the Menu tab and selecting Delete, page by page

  5. From the Point of Sale drop-down, choose Meadow.

  6. Select Save

How to set up an order integration

Before you set up an order integration, you will need:

  • A Basic or Premium listing account with Weedmaps

  • Live menu integration with Weedmaps

  • Orders enabled on Weedmaps (you have the Add to cart option available on your menu)

  • Admin access to your account with Meadow to generate an API key

Please note: Setting up an order integration is currently unavailable for self-service use and will need to be enabled by Weedmaps Support.

A few things you should know about order integration between Meadow and Weedmaps:

  • Promo codes are not automatically synced between Meadow and Weedmaps

    • Any promo code set up in Weedmaps will need to be created and matched in Meadow

    • Any promo codes applied on Weedmaps will appear in the order notes so that promo codes can be applied manually to each order in Meadow

  • The order total displayed during checkout on Weedmaps should always be correct, but in some cases, the subtotal will be missing some taxes

    • If any additional taxes and discounts are set up in Meadow, they will not appear as a line item in the subtotal during checkout on Weedmaps

    • This only impacts the subtotal on Weedmaps — the order grand total should be correct on both Weedmaps and Meadow, and the subtotals should be correct on their receipt from Meadow

  • Customer ID & driver's license details are not synced between Weedmaps and Meadow

    • A customer’s ID should be checked when their order is picked up or delivered

  • Form of payment will need to be selected in Meadow

    • All American Weedmaps orders are submitted with a default CASH payment type

    • Retailers will need to confirm which form of payment customers use during checkout within Meadow

  • If you’re using OnFleet for delivery, we recommend that you reach out to Meadow for setup guidance specific to that platform
