How to integrate with Alleaves

Weedmaps offers two types of point-of-sale (POS) integrations with Alleaves:

  1. Live menu integration: Sync your POS menu with Weedmaps so that you only need to update your menu in one place

  2. Order integration: If a customer places an order on Weedmaps, the order will automatically be sent to your POS for fulfillment

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to set up live menu and order integrations:

How to set up a live menu integration with Alleaves

Before enabling the live menu integration on Weedmaps, please make sure you:

  1. Have your Weedmaps username and password from Alleaves

Please note: If you need help generating your Weedmaps username and password from Alleaves, please contact Alleaves Support at [email protected] or fill out a form on their website.

Setting up a live menu integration

  1. Log in to your WM Admin account

  2. Navigate to the LISTINGS tab to locate your listing and select EDIT

  3. Select the MENU tab at the top of the page

  4. Select the POS Integration button located at the top right corner of the page

    Please note: If you currently have a menu, the message below will appear on the POS Integration page:

    "Looks like this menu has items in it. To integrate this menu, you must first delete all current items or create a new blank menu. Then, connect the newly created menu to your listing. Click here to create a new menu."

    ​Before you can integrate, you will need to clear the existing menu. You can do this by checking the boxes to the left of products under the Menu tab and selecting Delete, page by page.

  5. From the Point of Sale drop-down, choose Alleaves (Crawler) and click Next

  6. Input your Weedmaps Username and Password

  7. Next, select the Location that populates from the dropdown

  8. Select your desired Integration options

  9. Select Save

Please note: If your integration has completed its initial sync and you notice that products that were previously listed as branded/verified products no longer display the blue verification checkmark, you may need to re-verify those menu items.

How to set up an order integration with Alleaves

Before you set up an order integration, you will need:

  • A Basic or Premium Listing account with Weedmaps

  • Live Menu integration with Weedmaps

  • Orders enabled on Weedmaps (you have the Add to cart option available on your menu)

  • An Alleaves User Account with:

    • View, Create, and Modify Order Access

    • View Inventory Access

Please note: Setting up an order integration is currently unavailable for self-service use and will need to be enabled by Weedmaps Support.

Why are my product images not showing on my Weedmaps menu?

Please ensure your product images within Alleaves meet the following requirements:

  • The image size is a minimum of 600 x 600 pixels

  • The image file type is either .png or .jpeg
    (Please note: Images in .png & .jpegs format downloaded from the internet are often automatically converted to webp. file types which will not display on Weedmaps)

  • The image is directly uploaded into your POS system and not uploaded from a third party

If I create a promo code on Weedmaps, will it transfer to my Alleaves POS system when a customer places an order?

No, promo codes created on Weedmaps will not automatically transfer to your Alleaves POS system when a customer applies it to their cart and completes an order on Weedmaps. We recommend mirroring the promo code on Weedmaps in your Alleaves POS system.

Can sale prices from Alleaves appear on my Weedmaps menu?

Yes, if a product is on sale in your Alleaves POS system, the sale price will appear on your Weedmaps menu as the regular product price.

Will my sales price from Alleaves appear as strikethrough pricing on Weedmaps?

No, if a product is on sale in your Alleaves POS system, the sale price will appear on your Weedmaps menu as the regular product price, NOT as strikethrough pricing. If you would like to have sales strikethrough pricing on your Weedmaps menu, you can do so directly on your Weedmaps menu by following the steps in our help article.

Similar to promo codes, the strikethrough pricing enabled on Weedmaps will not transfer to your Alleaves POS system once a customer places an order on Weedmaps. We recommend mirroring the strikethrough sales price on Weedmaps in your Alleaves POS system so it applies to the order once it appears in Alleaves.

Will my taxes in Alleaves show on Weedmaps?

Yes, both sales and excise taxes are sent to Weedmaps if you are order-integrated. The taxes set in Alleaves will be reflected in customers' carts during the final phase of checkout on Weedmaps. If you are not order-integrated, taxes can be set on Weedmaps as an estimate for customers during checkout.

Do ID images transfer to Alleaves from Weedmaps?

No, images of customer IDs will not transfer to your Alleaves POS system when the customer completes an order on Weedmaps. You can locate the customer's ID in the order information in Weedmaps Admin.

Why are orders showing the customer's last name as 'Weedmaps'?

If the customer did not add their last name to their Weedmaps account, 'Weedmaps' will automatically default as the customer's last name to avoid issues with the order integration.
