Weedmaps offers two types of point-of-sale (POS) integrations with IndicaOnline:
Live menu integration: Allows for a listing’s menu to be built directly from the POS system and periodically sync to keep your Weedmaps menu up to date
Order integration: If a customer places an order on Weedmaps, the order will automatically be sent to your POS for fulfillment

Before enabling the live menu integration on Weedmaps, please make sure you follow these steps in IndicaOnline:
Locate your API Key
Submit a Request (Only if you would like Weedmaps orders to flow into IndicaOnline. If not, please skip this step.)
Please note: If you need assistance locating your API key, please contact IndicaOnline Support at [email protected].
Setting up a live menu integration
Log into your WM Admin account
Navigate to the LISTINGS tab to locate your listing and select EDIT
Select the MENU tab at the top of the page
Select the POS Integration button located at the top right corner of the page
Please note: If you currently have a menu, the message below will appear on the POS integration page:
"Looks like this menu has items in it. To integrate this menu, you must first delete all current items or create a new blank menu. Then connect the newly created menu to your listing. Click here to create a new menu."
Before you can integrate, you will need to either clear the existing menu or create a new menu and set it live.
From the Point of Sale dropdown, choose IndicaOnline
Enter your API Key and click Next
Select the IndicaOnline Office you would like Weedmaps to pull inventory from
Choose the desired Integration Options you would like to have
Click Save
The menu will begin populating shortly. If it does not display within 30 minutes, please reach out to Weedmaps Support.
How to set up an order integration with IndicaOnline
How to set up an order integration with IndicaOnline
Before you set up an order integration, you will need:
At least a Basic listing account with Weedmaps
Live menu integration
Orders enabled on Weedmaps (you have the Add to cart option available on your menu)
An account with IndicaOnline
Your IndicaOnline API credentials
To Submit a Request for orders enablement within IndicaOnline
Once step 6 is complete, ensure Weedmaps Online Ordering is enabled within your POS system
Setting up an order integration within Weedmaps
After step 7 above is complete and IndicaOnline has Orders enabled, Weedmaps can enable the Order Integration for you. To set up an order integration, contact Weedmaps Support at [email protected] or call us at 1-844-WEEDMAPS (933-3627)
Please note: Setting up an order integration is not available for self-service use and will need to be enabled by Weedmaps Support.

What is the difference between IndicaOnline Legacy (old version) and IndicaOnline Crawler (new version)?
IndicaOnline menu integration allows the following:
Weedmaps to communicate often with your POS system to ensure your Weedmaps live menu is up to date
An on-demand resync option to refresh your Weedmaps menu
Brand verifications to be done directly on Weedmaps
Sales pricing enabled in IndicaOnline to be displayed on Weedmaps as sales strikethrough pricing
Where should I edit and modify my menu items?
Once you are menu integrated with your IndicaOnline POS system, all edits and modifications made to products need to be made directly in your POS system. If you make changes to the menu items directly on Weedmaps, it can disrupt the integration between Weedmaps and IndicaOnline. The only edits or modifications that can be made on Weedmaps are featuring a product and brand verifications.
Why are my product images not showing on my Weedmaps menu?
Please ensure your product images within IndicaOnline meet the following requirements:
The image size is a minimum of 600 x 600 pixels
The image file type is either .png or .jpeg
Please note: Images in .png & .jpeg format downloaded from the internet are often automatically converted to webp. file types which will not display on Weedmaps.The image is directly uploaded into your POS system and not uploaded from a third party
If I create a promo code on Weedmaps, will it transfer to my IndicaOnline POS system when a customer places an order?
Yes, if you are order-integrated, a promo code created on Weedmaps will automatically transfer to your IndicaOnline POS system when a customer applies it to their cart and completes an order on Weedmaps.
Can sales prices from IndicaOnline appear on my Weedmaps menu?
Yes, product specific special prices set within IndicaOnline will appear on Weedmaps as strikethrough sale pricing.
Will my taxes in IndicaOnline show on Weedmaps?
Yes, both sales and excise taxes are sent to Weedmaps if you are order-integrated. The taxes set in IndicaOnline will be reflected in customers' carts during the final phase of checkout on Weedmaps. If you are not order-integrated, taxes can be set on Weedmaps as an estimate for customers during checkout.
Do ID images transfer to IndicaOnline from Weedmaps?
Yes, a customer's ID image will transfer to your IndicaOnline POS system when the customer completes an order on Weedmaps.
Why are orders showing the customer's last name as "Weedmaps"?
If the customer did not add their last name to their Weedmaps account, "Weedmaps" will automatically default as the customer's last name to avoid issues with the order being received in the POS system.
